Roger Perrinjaquet invents the bamix®

1953

bamix® is patented. Werner Spingler and Josef Gschwend found the company ESGE AG, Germany

1954

bamix® launches first model ever, called M60

1955

bamix® celebrates its first trade fair appearance in Hanover

1959

Market entry into the Scandinavian countries

1960

Establishment of the production company ESGE AG in Mettlen TG, Switzerland

1961

Re-design by Acton Bjorn and Count Sigvard Bernadotte

Relaunch of the B-Model

Market entry into the Scandinavian countries

Sales record of 2000 bamix® at the Brussels trade fair

1971

General Electric sells ESGE AG to Walter Bodart

1975

The model range is expanded with the Magic Wand

1977

Market entry in Australia, huge success at the trade fair in Melbourne, foundation of bamix® Australia Ltd.

1979

Singapore, USA, Malta, Cyprus, Greece and Indonesia are the newly developed markets

1980

Sakurako Ide builds up the Japanese market with cooking parties / new hall built in Mettlen TG, Switzerland

1986

Management buyout, Walter Bodart remains CEO. Premiere of the bamix® Processor

1989

Demand in South Korea increases massively thanks to Swiss Fair

1990

"Trade" representation in Germany with the Brand ESGE-Zauberstab® is transferred to Unold.

1991

Launch of 5 cm longer bamix® Gastro

1993

Direct sales to Japan

Gentle redesign, Twin-Switch safety switch and accessory cassette

Introduction of the new product line bamix® SwissLine and the world innovation bamix® SliceSy®.

Market entry in China and Hong Kong
