Directions

For the dough
Mix the sugar with the eggs using the bamix® whisk. Then, stir in the buttermilk. Mix the flour with the baking powder and add to the batter. Stir well with the bamix® whisk. Line the baking tray with baking paper or grease with butter. Preheat the oven to 200 °C. Pour the batter onto the baking tray and smooth it down.
For the topping
Mix the coconut flakes with the sugar and vanilla sugar. Spread evenly over the batter. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 to 20 minutes. Meanwhile, stir the butter and cream using the bamix® whisk and heat in a pot until the butter has melted. Remove the cake from the oven and pour the cream and butter mixture over it until the coconut flakes are soaked. Leave to cool completely.
