Directions

Fluffy Pear-Cinnamon Rolls
Lightly heat the milk and butter in a small pan until all the butter has melted. Stir in the vanilla extract with the bamix® whisk. Crumble the yeast into a large bowl. Pour the lukewarm milk and melted butter over the yeast and stir with the bamix® multi-purpose blade. Add the flour in portions while continuing to mix the dough with the bamix® multi-purpose blade. Stir the mixture until a smooth dough is formed. The dough should come away from the bowl easily. Add a little more flour to the mixture if necessary. Sift a little flour over the dough and cover the bowl with a wet cloth. Leave to rest for 1 hour. Preheat the oven to 220 °C and grease the baking dish with butter. Roll out the dough evenly, then spread the sugar and cinnamon evenly over it. Peel the pears, cut them into quarters, grate them with the bamix® SliceSy® using disc no. 2 and spread them over the dough. Then, roll the dough up tightly and brush with beaten egg. Now, cut the dough roll into slices about 7 cm thick and fill into the baking dish. Bake the rolls for about 25 minutes on the lowest rack.
For the frosting
Mix all the frosting ingredients with the bamix® whisk. For the "without cream cheese" version, carefully stir in just a little milk and add a little more, if necessary, to make a thick mixture. Spread the frosting over the still warm rolls.
