For the cake
- 32 gbaking powder
- 150 gbutter, melted
- 500 gsemolina
- 200 gcoconut flakes
- 360 gplain yoghurt
- 24 gvanilla sugar
- 5 glemon zest
For the syrup
- 500 mlwater
- 50 mllemon juice
- 375 gsugar

For the cake
Mix the coconut flakes with the baking powder, semolina, lemon zest and vanilla sugar in a bowl using the bamix® multi-purpose blade. Add the yoghurt and melted butter and mix well with the bamix® multi-purpose blade. Cover the bowl and leave to rest for 1 hour at room temperature. Line a large baking tray with baking paper and spread the mixture in it. Bake for approx. 50 minutes at 180 °C.
For the syrup
Mix the water, sugar and lemon juice in a pot with the bamix® whisk and boil to form a syrup. After baking, take the cake out of the oven, prick it in several places with a fork and pour the hot syrup over it. Place the cake in the oven for another 10 minutes. Then, leave to cool and serve.
