Directions

For the short pastry
Knead all the ingredients into a smooth dough using the bamix® multi-purpose blade. Form into a ball, wrap in cling film and leave to cool for 1 hour. Preheat the oven to 180 °C and line the baking tray with baking paper. Roll out the dough approx. 3 mm thick on a floured work surface. Cut out the dough once per tree with the rosette-shaped terrace cutters, place on a baking tray and bake in the hot oven for about 15 minutes. Then, allow the biscuits to cool down.
For the egg white glazing
For the glazing, beat the egg white with the bamix® beater until stiff. Slowly pour in the sugar while stirring continuously until a creamy mixture is formed. Starting with the largest biscuit, alternately assemble biscuits and egg white glazing to form a Christmas tree. Decorate with stars. When the little trees are completely assembled, dry them again briefly at 140 °C in the preheated oven. Only remove them from the oven after they have cooled down.
