  • 200 gdark cake icing
  • 150 gsugar cane

Mix the sugar, salt, softened butter and eggs with the bamix® whisk until creamy. Next, set aside ¼ of the whole nuts. Finely chop the dark chocolate, milk chocolate and the remaining nuts with the bamix® Processor. Add the orange juice, chopped chocolate and chopped nuts to the butter-egg mixture, and mix using the bamix® multi-purpose blade. Gradually add the flour and baking powder and mix until smooth.
Preheat the oven to 200 °C. Cover the baking tray with baking paper and spread the dough evenly on it, then place in the centre of the oven and bake for about 30 minutes. Take the base of the nut bars out and set aside to cool.
Separate the egg white from the egg yolk and whisk the egg white with the bamix® beater. Coat the whole nuts with it. Prepare the sugar on a plate. Roll the nuts in the sugar and place on baking paper to dry.
Melt the icing in a bain-marie and pour into a piping bag. Then cut a small tip off the piping bag and spread the icing in stripes over the base of the nut bars. Spread the nuts evenly over it. Place the nut bars back in the switched-off oven to set. Then cut them into pieces of any size you like and serve.
