Directions

First, put the flour, sugar syrup and corn starch into a mixing bowl. Add the other ingredients and mix with the bamix® multi-purpose blade until a smooth dough is formed. Wrap the dough in cling film and refrigerate for about 30 to 60 minutes.
Roll out the dough on a floured worktop. Cut out small figures using a gingerbread man-shaped biscuit cutter. Make the faces by pressing the pointed end of a skewer into the dough. Finally, place an almond on each cut-out figure and carefully press the arms onto the almond.
Bake the biscuits at 160 °C for approx. 10 to 15 minutes, until browned.
Tip If desired, the biscuits can be decorated with a little icing or chocolate glazing, for instance, to give a hint of mouth or hair.
For the chocolate glazing
Chop the chocolate with the bamix® Processor. Then heat with the butter in a bowl over a bain-marie and melt. Stir with the bamix® whisk so that nothing burns. Then use for decorating.
