Insert the chopping blade into the SliceSy®. Put the flour, 1 pinch of salt, softened butter in pieces, cocoa powder, 120 g sugar and the egg into the SliceSy®. Knead the dough with the bamix® on speed 2. Refrigerate the dough for 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 180 °C. Line a baking tray with baking paper. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured worktop to a thickness of approx. 3 mm.
Cut out circles from the dough using a glass or a suitable biscuit cutter. Place 3 circles in a row, slightly overlapping each other. Roll up the circles and cut the rolled dough in half with a sharp knife.
Press the lower part of the rose firmly with your fingers (otherwise the rose will fall apart when baking) and shape the top of the rose as desired. Place the roses cut side down on the prepared baking tray and bake for approx. 10 minutes.
With the bamix® Processor, process 100 g sugar into icing sugar and dust the roses with it.
