Preheat the oven to 175 °C in a fan oven. Grind the cinnamon into a powder in advance using the bamix® with the Processor and the PowderDisc. Using the bamix® with the whisk attachment, beat the eggs and maple syrup for a few minutes until frothy.
Grind the almonds using the bamix® and the Processor. Then mix the almonds, wholemeal flour, baking soda, cream of tartar powder, salt, cinnamon and raw cacao well using the bamix® and the mincer attachment. Add the flour mixture and the applesauce to the eggs and mix in well using the bamix® with the mincer attachment.
Put the brownies in a large baking dish (20 x 30 cm) lined with baking paper or place on a baking tray and bake for about 25–30 minutes. As desired, spread with melted chocolate and sprinkle some almond slivers or simply dust with raw cacao.
